I’m an experienced Marketing and Communications Professional with a unique viewpoint & a focus on mission. I am intensely creative with a critical–thinking mind, always bringing a big smile, strong work ethic, honesty and wit. I am mission-oriented and believe in a collaborative work environment that helps others to reach their full potential. I am diplomatic and tactful in my communication, with an ability to transcend personal differences to reach a common goal. I love farmers markets, unsweet tea, the SF Giants, InDesign, and Dolly Parton.

The Hamlin School
Director of Communications | August 2024—Current
As Director of Communications, I am responsible for: maintaining the school’s brand strategy and aligning all school communications with it; managing multiple projects under strict deadlines while balancing strategic and tactical plans; partnering with the Head of School and working collaboratively with other members of the Administration Team and their teams to support their communications and achieve the school’s strategic goals; maintaining a strong team relationship with the Executive Director of Advancement to support all fundraising efforts; design and production of all fundraising materials, including print and online collateral, and social media; producing the school’s annual magazine, Keeping Posted, and coordinating the school’s regular communications, including the Head of School’s updates, weekly all school newsletter, admissions and advancement campaigns and communications; building relationships with faculty, staff, parents and students to strengthen communication and foster community.

Marketing Manager & Interim Director | January 2021—August 2024
As Marketing Manager, I was responsible for all the marketing needs of the MWPAC including: developing and implementing marketing strategy, workflow, budgeting, social media campaigns, website design and updates, email marketing, building marketing partnerships, and supervising ticketing, box office operations, front of house, and work study students. I also provided the majority of the creative for events held in the MWPAC including the creation of show programs and development of digital and print ads. I worked closely with faculty to ensure their events are marketed according to Gonzaga’s brand standards and assisted them with marketing needs and concerns.
As Interim Director, I oversaw the day-to-day running of the Performing Arts Center, while maintaining Marketing Manager duties. The Interim duties have included: negotiation of contracts, supervision of budget, directing operations, calendar oversight, and handling event logistics and artist needs.

Fairchild Air Force Base | November 2020-January 2021
At Fairchild Air Base, I assisted the Marketing Department with any graphic design needs, such as website development, digital advertising, and photography.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho
Director of Marketing | April 2019—October 2020
As Director of Marketing, I was responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies designed to generate fundraising, enable cookie sales, support membership retention, and increase awareness of the Girl Scout brand. I did this through effective email newsletters, large-scale printed publications, media buying and relations, website development and maintenance, event and ticket management, social media engagement, department budgeting, and strategic planning, while overseeing staff and interns.
Marketing and Communications Specialist | March 2018—March 2019
As the Marketing Specialist of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, I was tasked with creating the design elements of the department’s collateral and projects, and delivering completed projects within the specified budget and timelines. I was responsible for coordinating and managing the production of print jobs for all internal departments, including printing, collating, and assembly of manuals, flyers, brochures, etc. I developed a deep understanding of Girl Scout brand voice, and stayed current with Girl Scout marketing and brand guidelines.

Projects involved: digital and print ad design, package design, creative concepting, social media, logos and branding packages, publication and poster/packaging design, and storyboarding of motion graphic videos. Clients included: Spokane Transit Authority, Spokane Valley School District, Rypien Foundation, King County, and DSHS.
